Tomorrowland, Spring 1988

Here are a couple from Spring 1988. The first year of Blast to the Past was in full swing. I had just graduated from Mariner High School and celebrated with a trip to Disneyland. I drove down in my recently repainted 1979 Pontiac Grand Lemans 4-Door. I remember it was Maroon Red with Orange upholstery. Good Times!!!!!!

Here is a view of Tomorrowland's Themed Center, The PeopleMover. The Tomorrowland Terrace still had Orange Umbrellas (It hadn't gone to the lavender yet). The PeopleMover was just been repainted to the grey with color stripes and, though not pictured, Circle-Vision had gained their new sponsor. Delta Air Lines.
Here is a shot from the Rocket Jet Flight Deck. Enjoy!

You don't post that often, but when you do, we have a winner. Great pics, Thanks.

Thanks. I'm running out of good pics to post, so thats why my posts are more infrequent.

These are blast to the past alright! What the heck happened to the top of the Tomorrowland stage? I don't remember all that extra stuff, was it part of the Blast celebration? Hey look, there's a solid yellow people mover on the tract! Thanks for the Blast Post!

And in that first pic, you can see a solid turquoise PeopleMover on the far left and a solid blue one behind the Tomorrowland Terrace stage. Great pics!
