Thanks for the neat pics of Disneyland ... Do you know when and why Disney converted the fountains at the entrance to Tomorrowland to planters? I assume it was because the liver-shapped fountain heads and aluminum backdrop showed hard water stains and were too difficult to keep clean.

I don't really know when the turned off the fountains. I think it was in the early 70's. Maybe mantance?
